These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of linuxguard.io and any associated services. By using our Site or Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the linuxguard.io website (“Site”) and any related services (“Services”), you (“you”, “User”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Use of the Site & Services

You must be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Site.

You agree to use the Site lawfully, not infringe others’ rights, and not misuse it (e.g. no hacking, reverse-engineering, spreading malware).

Where you are given credentials (e.g. login, API key), you’re responsible for maintaining their confidentiality.

All content on the Site (text, graphics, code, logos, software) is the property of LinuxGuard Ltd or its licensors, protected by copyright, trademarks, and other laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted (e.g. for your own internal use if allowed).

If you contribute content (e.g. feedback, bug reports), you grant LinuxGuard a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publish it.

5. Disclaimers & “As Is”

The Site and Services are provided “as is,” “as available,” without warranties of any kind (express or implied).

We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We disclaim liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or reliance on content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinuxGuard’s total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to LinuxGuard in the past 12 months (if any).

We exclude liability for (among other things) loss of profits, loss of data, or indirect or consequential damages.

Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or performance.

Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LinuxGuard, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time without notice, for violation of these Terms or for business reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases, but provisions that should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability limitations, intellectual property, indemnification) remain in effect.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision is void or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign to a successor.

Notices: Notices to you may be delivered via email or via the Site; notices to us to our registered address.

Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and LinuxGuard regarding the Site & Services.
